about

This is the demo version of a new song. We are re-recording it for our (hopefully) upcoming full length.

lyrics

At the end of the road, who will find us? How will we ever get home?
At the end of the road, where will we go? Can we ever make it back alone?

Two years ago, I was hardly in contention, now I'm on high ground, and my intentions are the same as before, but I've gained something more in this long shot east coast game. Each level that's played is experience gained, but my health is wasting away. The northeast keeps getting colder, I'm getting older and sicker of this place. I'm watching it die, it's weighing me down, my mind is so far away but I'm still here.

I'm turning into something so far from what I've known, I can't seem to call this place my home, and each day that passes, I am more alone. I'm starting to believe that I'm not the only one, not too long before I'll be gone, maybe I'll feel like someone who means a god damn thing.

Well, I've spent some time away, living life like a fantasy, I'm having trouble coming back down. I'm stuck up so high, there's much less oxygen in the sky, and my lungs are wearing out. So as a result, I'm processing nothing the right way, as blood rushes to my head. The pressure is re-igniting, but the fire's dying. I'm colder than ever, inside I just might be dead.

We've strayed from the course, the damage is done, we've waited too long, to the edge of the road we run.

We've strayed from the course, the damage is done, now we're over the edge and falling, and falling, and falling.

At the end of the road, who will find us? How will we ever get home?
At the end of the road, where will we go? Can we ever make it back alone?
