Baby, I don't remember how you got this way You had it all and then you tossed it out the window And I'm not sure if youre brave or insecure But this is the real world, and I'm not quite sure where you are And everyone around wants your life, but you've got nothing to show I know one day that you'll be sorry that you threw it all away and you lost yourself, I know You were once the golden jewel, but now you're just a sideshow tool Everyone used to envy what you had, now you're wishing you could take all of it back

Running Away 04:25
Breaking down, I see you now, you're feeling lost Sympathetic's not quite how I feel You're feeling guilty for the things that you have done How can you expect to give appeal When you keep running away? How can I save you if you wont save yourself? And you keep running away Thinking about you and no one else Look at all the friends you made that you have lost Where you might be going no one knows Despite the constant words to numb the hurt of troubled thoughts You still deny what lies beneath and it shows on your face and in your soul You have these constant regrets, you dont seem to get it yet Despite the constant words of hope, and all the friends you used to know, now that all is said and done, all that's left to do is run

hey say the night is young, but for us the night was over You can say we fought a long way, but never far enough yet. You can say we've got a long way before we're ever good enough. "Save your breath, don't waste your time," they'd say. But I've got a reason to believe it's not much longer till you know we've fought a long way, way back from the start of this. You can say we've gone a long way, breaking apart from the crowd that always said we'd never make our name We're gonna make our name, even if we have to climb from the bottom of the hole to be on top of the game So let's rise above the rest, until we're ten feet taller than the ones who tried to tear us down. Break the walls that hold us in, we'll break it with our voices. It turns out there's a world outside this town. Make lies, make excuses all the same, I never heard a single thing about this. There's a catch to this agreement that always seems to slip past. I wish I could've seen this, forgetting we're the underdog held under by this collar. But I intend to break the chain, cause there's nothing around that can hold me back this time. There's always someone trying, I never would've guessed it. It's hard enough to save face, when you're saving the best for last. Don't wait much longer, take the role. We're gonna take a hold, this is only one life. Hope the rhythm stays in time... We're gonna find out we're not so far from the top You shout this part: YOU LIGHT THIS MATCH, WE'LL BURN THIS CITY TO THE GROUND

Revelations 04:30
"They invaded the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down from the heavens and consumed them. No one will save us, we shall be cut off the earth" When these times seem grim, our souls become weaker, but do not fret, for our sins will be washed away in our destruction "He will rule them with an iron rod, like clay vessels will they be smashed. You gave them our kingdom, and praise for a god and they will reign on earth." 'We've sown the seeds of sin, and this is our punishment" WITH DARKENED HEARTS, OUR EMPIRE BEGINS TO FALL. SO SET YOUR SAILS AS THESE CITIES BEGIN SINKING

Rivers 04:34
Hold your breath girl, this could be the last time I try Save your thoughts now, cause tonight is all about the turn in our story, how's this gonna end? This life, this lie, a truth or pretend can we fake, can we take it, was it ever real? All I know is I'm dying inside when I can't see you, just want to be here with you but somehow I'm locked away, and I've put myself here in this endless sea. Watch me drowning, won't you pull me out? Take me back, find a way to get myself on track, I'm losing the fight, and you know you're free to join me in this battle as I slip away. Fall victim to the current as I drift away. If only you'd sail with me I could steer in the right direction. If this is the answer, the question was wrong. Perhaps with better wording, I wouldn't prolong this inevitable loss of all feeling inside my head. As I'm digging for a better resolution, I'm burying myself alive. This can not be the only solution to better myself in your eyes. It sure is lonely under here, you know you're free to join me in this battle.

Make hearts with your pen and paper, and break them with the weight of words. Fill the air with lyrics that we never understood but always heard. We've walked these roads before, enough to burn our footprints into the pavement floor. Floor on the gas pedal, we've got all the time in the world and more, but we know we'll try it just cause we can, and for all the trouble it could get us in. So keep these secrets close, but I'll tell them once just to keep things rolling. Roll with the hits that knock us down, just one more kick to turn this around. Even though I'll never get much out of paperback lovers and cold to the touch, it's still one chapter in this novel, don't choke on the make or breakers of the words that we spoke. We know the stronghold's on its strongest guard, but the bombs we ignite destroy the strongest barge. I'm sure that kind of writing is an ace in the hole to captivate an audience with just the right note.

Face up, let's turn this around, a steadfast turnabout, break this one out for the next time, gotta lay this one down, tear it out, make a move, turn the treble down and the bass up. You know it's what you wanna do, let's make it happen put your hands up, hands up! Please keep hands and arms inside the train, how can we if there's no track? Judging by the way your body's moving out on the floor, I'm willing to take my chances on you. We both know this night is still young, but there's something about the way you're moving right in time with me, and I'm praying right now that everything's the way you want it to be. Lights out? I don't think so. Not for a while, we're just getting started, and the frequency's where we want it right now. So get in, stop standing on the sidelines. The time is now, just make the moves right. We're speeding up, don't care if we make it, it's just for the thrill of the ride. Full speed ahead, prepare to break the walls With the odds against me a hundred to one, once again I'm trapped here waiting for you. But there's always this illusion that I had a chance (I wasted it on this chance)...wasted on this chance that maybe I could have this. And I could make it a point to call you out on the chance I could call your bluff (I can only hope that somewhere deep down you felt for me) But I've never been one to hold on to the past so I'm moving on (you're the hill I had to climb to find myself, I'm over you now).
